Iyengar yoga is a versatile physical yoga method developed by the internationally acclaimed B.K.S. Iyengar (India). We address the mind through the body in order to create a balance.
The asanat (positions) and asana sequences have different effects on the nervous system. We focus weekly on different themes, strengthening and mobilizing the body. You will also be encouraged to break your physical boundaries set by your mind. Yoga also works in an excellent way to get more body awareness and mindfulness in your dance practice, or whatever other physical form you are practicing.
